Lights on Jeater Bend is an all-singing-and-dancing street wide Christmas light display that runs every night throughout the Holiday Season. If you’re visiting Orlando for the Holidays, put this on your nice list!
The 2020 season is held 6pm to 9:30pm from the evening of November 26th and runs nightly through December 31st 2021. Unfortunately, with the Pandemic, the organizers felt it best to shut it down.
The Lights on Jeater Bend, in the Town of Celebration Florida, features homes in perfect synchronization and musical harmony, giving visitors an awesome 360 degree dose of Christmas sparkle.
The dazzling display features synchronized lights, projections and even Santa and Mrs Claus themselves. Complete with snippets of movies displayed on the large screen and falling snow flurries. There is a beautiful water fountain display as well.
- Cool for Frozen Fans
Frozen fans are in for a treat. Anna, Elsa and Olaf will be visiting to take family snaps. They will be on Jeater Bend the weekend before Christmas and the week before Christmas Day. - Train Ride Treats
The two weekends leading up to Christmas will have free train rides to take the kids up and down the street. - The Movie Display
Be prepared to spend at least an hour enjoying a well integrated movie show that features delightful clips of Pentatonix, Disney cartoons and little drummer boy.
Please drive slowly and be aware of the many families with young children coming to view this wonderful free display . Park along Celebration Avenue and stroll the lights rather than drive. Be conscious of the Homeowners property as well.
Lights on Jeater Bend Raising Money for Charity
Calvin Slater, a Celebration resident, has been orchestrating this stunning display since 2010 with lots of help from participating neighbors. Calvin uses the light show as a way to help local families in need.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is the chosen charity. You can make donations online, or you can donate when you visit the Lights.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society help families and the homeless along the US-192 Highway facing hardships. Their efforts include rent assistance, utilities payments, car repairs, and down payments for permanent housing.
